Working with a leading UK based Steel Fabricator as part of a larger Group.

Role & Responsibilities

Temporary Works Design for Steel Frame Projects

Design of temporary works solutions for;

• Temporary Stability of Steel Framed Structures and Temporary Bracing
• MEWP’s on Steel Frames
• Jacking and Propping
• Material Storage/Laydown
• Lifting

Identify improvements to solutions proposed by others

Site visits to assess Temporary Works Requirements and assist Project and Construction teams as required

Check calculations produced by others to ensure compliance with project requirements.

Essential

Structural or Civil Engineering Degree level education

Temporary xwzovoh Works Design related to steel structure

Experience in member and connection design

Detailed understanding of engineering principles

Awareness of the requirements of the CDM regulations relating to structural design

Remote working is an option for an experienced Engineer (Chartered preferred)
