We're recruiting an Accounts Assistant Manager for a leading accountancy practice in Truro.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Accounts Senior or Assistant Manager looking to take the next step in their career, managing a varied client portfolio and gaining greater responsibility across accounts, tax and business advisory.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of SME and owner-managed business clients
• Review statutory accounts, management accounts and tax computations
• Review VAT returns and other compliance work
• Lead client assignments and ensure deadlines and budgets are met
• Provide accounting, tax and commercial advice to clients
• Identify opportunities to deliver additional services
• Monitor WIP, budgets and assignment profitability
• Liaise with HMRC and other professional advisers
