SSE plc, via The National HVDC Centre, seeks a Senior Power System Engineer to lead HVDC analyses and real-time simulations for GB and international projects. You will direct technical studies, mentor engineers, and help shape future HVDC technology while collaborating with partners and contributing to world-class facilities.
The role requires strong leadership, deep HVDC/system analysis expertise, and the ability to communicate complex results to diverse stakeholders.
