Production Operative

Job Title: Production Operator Location: Bedlington Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent Overview Jackson Hogg are delighted to be supporting our client based in Bedlington, who are looking to recruit two Production Operators to join their growing team. These are full-time, permanent positions offering stability, hands-on training, and the chance to work within a high-quality manufacturing environment. Working Hours Double Day Shift Rotation: * Early Shift: Monday – Thursday: 6:30am – 2:30pm | Friday: 6:30am – 2:00pm * Late Shift: Monday – Thursday: 2:30pm – 11:00pm | Friday: 2:00pm – 7:30pm Salary and Benefits * £24,454.04 and this will increase after successful 6 month probation to £25,879 * Additional Requirements: * All new starters will be required to complete a DBS security screening check * Drug & Alcohol testing will be conducted within the first week of employment Key Responsibilities * Carry out a range of repetitive production duties, including intricate assembly and testing * Assemble small, delicate components with precision and dexterity * Operate multiple machines efficiently as part of a high-volume production process * Follow set procedures carefully to maintain consistent product quality * Maintain excellent attention to detail and ensure work meets high quality and safety standards * Collaborate effectively with team members to meet daily production targets Core Requirements * Good numeracy and basic problem-solving skills * Excellent manual dexterity and hand–eye coordination * Ability to operate multiple machines confidently and safely * Strong focus on quality and accuracy in all aspects of work * Physically capable with good manoeuvrability for handling production tasks Desirable Skills and Experience * Previous experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment is advantageous, but full training will be provided If you are reliable, quality-driven, and keen to develop your career in a precision manufacturing environment, we would love to hear from you
