Our people work on market-leading matters that driveinnovation, growth, and transformation around the world.For AshurstPerkins Coie, innovation is our tradition.What makes Ashurst Perkins Coie a great place to work?Flexible work options - part-time, working from home andadditional leaveHealth and wellbeing benefits, gym membership, and discountedcorporate health plansCareer advancement - client secondment opportunities, globalopportunities, and award-winning Learning & Development programsThe Opportunity:As a Research Specialist you are a vitally important part of theglobal Research & Business Intelligence team and deliver a coreservice to our internal Ashurst Perkins Coie people.You will use a range of research resources to provide in-depth andsolution-focused legal and company research to legal and businessservices teams within Ashurst Perkins Coie's offices in the UK, EMEA,US and Asia Pacific regions.Key responsibilities of the role include:Provide reference and research advice and support to internal andexternal clients as part of a global research team, using a range ofsubscription and freely available resources.Deliver legal and business research solutions to enable internalclients to quickly make informed decisions.Co-ordinate, create and deliver research skills training to arange of user groups.Proactively identify, scope and work with the current awarenessteam to set up alerts on legal, client and industry topics.Contribute to collection development activities includingparticipation in product trials, product reviews and the rollout ofnew products to users.Maintain knowledge of current and emerging search techniques andtechnologies, including AI, and the implications for legal andbusiness research strategies.Build strong working relationships with stakeholders in yourregion and promote the Research & Business Intelligence team andits role within the firm.This is a full-time, permanent role based in our Glasgow office withhybrid working.More information can be found in the job description attached to therole on our careers site: Careers| Ashurst Perkins CoieAbout you:The successful candidate will have:Demonstrated research skills, with at least 4 years' experience ina legal or professional services environment.Sophisticated skills in using online resources and knowledge ofproducts available in the wider legal information marketplace.Understanding of the UK legal system.Experience in creating and delivering research skills training,and in creating content for internal websites and communication tools.Ability to keep up to date of new resources, new technology andresearch tools available in the legal and business research sector.#LI-HYBRID #LI-IW1
