We are recruiting a Junior Sous Chef to join the talented kitchen brigade at a beautiful country inn in Warwickshire, offering an exciting opportunity to be part of an ambitious food-led operation pushing towards AA Rosette recognition.

As Junior Sous Chef, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, working closely with the Head Chef to deliver high-quality food while helping drive the business towards its AA Rosette ambitions.
This role would suit an experienced Junior Sous Chef seeking a fresh challenge or a strong Chef de Partie ready to step into their first junior management position.
The ideal candidate will come from a quality fresh food background, ideally with experience in at least a 1AA Rosette environment, and possess a genuine passion for seasonal British cuisine.
As Junior Sous Chef you will:
Support the Head Chef with all aspects of kitchen operations
Help lead and motivate the brigade during service
Assist with menu development and seasonal dish creation
Maintain consistently high food standards across all services
Train and mentor junior members of the team
Ensure excellent hygiene, food safety, and kitchen organisation
Take responsibility for sections of the kitchen and deputise for senior chefs when required
You will be organised, enthusiastic, and eager to contribute ideas while developing your leadership skills within a professional kitchen.
