Specification Technologist - 3 Month FTC £35,000 Pro Rata Wrexham Are you looking to develop your career within Technical Services and Specifications by working closely with major retailers and widely recognised food products? This international food manufacturer has a long-established and significant presence in the UK, producing millions of meals weekly from sites across the country for all of the leading supermarkets. In this role you will support the Technical Services function by managing customer specifications, artwork approvals and technical documentation, ensuring products are accurately represented and compliant with both customer and legislative requirements. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in Specifications in the Food Manufacturing sector and will be knowledgeable about various retailer specification systems as well as labelling and artwork standards. Day-to-day of the role: Managing customer specifications and technical information across retailer systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance Reviewing artwork and pack copy to ensure labelling information meets customer and regulatory requirements Working with internal departments and external stakeholders to deliver projects within agreed launch timescales Supporting technical compliance activities, documentation control and internal audit programmes across the business The ideal person will have: Demonstrable Specifications experience in the Food Manufacturing sector Knowledge of retailer specification systems, food labelling requirements and customer standards Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships across technical and operational teams If you are interested in this position, click apply or contact Stuart Goble at Reed.
