Location : Twr y Felin Hotel, St Davids, Pembrokeshire, SA62 6QT
Working pattern : Casual, 34 shifts per week across 7 days. Flexible contracts available to work around studies and family life.

About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Kitchen Porter to join our team at Twr y Felin Hotel on a casual basis. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, supporting the chef with basic food preparation, and ensuring all washing and cleaning duties are carried out to a high standard in line with food health and safety regulations.

What you'll be doing
Cleaning and sanitising all meal preparation areas, kitchen walls, stoves, sinks, ovens and grills
Cleaning and sanitising the employee break room and back waste and recycling areas
Sweeping and mopping all kitchen areas during and at the end of shifts
Washing dirty dishes, cutting boards, utensils and cooking equipment
Ensuring food mixers, cookers and other equipment are in good working order
Receiving and unpacking deliveries
Emptying, re-lining and washing bins as required
Ensuring refrigerators, freezers and storage areas are clean and well organised
Assisting the Chef with basic food preparation including washing, peeling and cutting ingredients
Complying with statutory requirements for fire, hygiene, health and safety and licensing
Supporting the team during events including weddings, Christmas, New Year, Easter and bank holidays
