Engineering Manager Location: Regent Street, LondonJob Type: Full-TimeCompany: BGISAbout the Role We are looking for an experienced and motivated Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team and ensure the smooth delivery of building services across our contract portfolio.This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills, a background in hard services/facilities management, and a passion for delivering excellent customer service and operational performance.Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the on-site engineering teamEnsure all planned and reactive maintenance is completed safely and on timeDeliver high standards of service and maintain strong client relationshipsMonitor contract performance, KPIs, SLAs, and budgetsProduce monthly performance reportsEnsure compliance with health & safety and statutory regulationsManage subcontractors and review performance regularlySupport recruitment, training, development, and appraisals of staffIdentify and manage additional works opportunitiesAttend client meetings and present operational and financial updatesPromote a positive team culture and continuous improvementWhat We’re Looking For Previous experience in an Engineering Manager, Contract Manager, or Senior Supervisor roleStrong knowledge of building services and hard facilities managementUnderstanding of health & safety legislation and compliance requirementsExperience managing teams, budgets, and subcontractorsExcellent communication and leadership skillsStrong organisational and problem-solving abilitiesComputer literate and comfortable producing reports and presentationsDesirable Degree or HND qualification in a relevant fieldExperience delivering wider facilities management servicesExperience with training, appraisals, and succession planningWhat You’ll Bring A proactive and professional attitudeStrong customer focusAbility to work well under pressureHigh levels of integrity and motivationConfidence in leading teams and building client relationshipsAdditional Information Occasional travel may be requiredOvernight stays may occasionally be necessaryAt BGIS we believe that diversity and inclusion is a key business driver, such that we never lose sight of its importance as it is woven into the fabric of our organisation.
