Modern Workplace Engineer A leading consultancy, that we are partnered with on an exclusive basis is hiring a Modern Workplace Engineer to join a highly technical team located in Kent paying £60,000 circa onsite 2 days per week + benefits. We are looking for a hands-on Microsoft 365 engineer who personally designs, builds and delivers cloud-first / serverless solutions for our customers, project manages their own delivery and stakeholders, and has the potential to grow into a Modern Work consultant. This is a doer first, not a pure consultant or architect (but scope to transition in the future).  Ideally the chosen candidate will have experience within an MSP or Consultancy background with certifications in MD-102, AZ-104. Must-have technical expertise:  Deep Microsoft 365 across Intune, Entra ID, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Exchange Online, Purview and Defender Proven serverless, cloud-first delivery (migrations, endpoint transformation, identity, Zero Trust) Azure knowledge (IaaS/PaaS, networking, AVD)Delivery and consulting:  Owns own projects end-to-end: scoping, planning, delivery and clean handover, with light support Customer-facing and personable, comfortable leading stakeholder conversations and translating technical detail into outcomes Commercially aware on scope and change controlTwo stage interview process, to ideally start ASAP.
