Business Analyst (Non-Technical)Location: Manchester (Free On-Site Parking)Contract: Initial 3-Month Contract with Potential Extension Hybrid Working: Approximately 2 days per week on site (as required)
Rate: £ PAYE/£ UmbrellaThe OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a keypliance transformation programme within a highly regulated organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for a BA who enjoys working closely with stakeholders, facilitating workshops, mapping processes, and driving business change.You will play a pivotal role in understanding current business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and designing future-state ways of working that enhance efficiency,pliance, and customer oues.Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the capture and documentation of 'As Is' business processes acrosspliance functions.
  • Facilitate and manage process design workshops with key stakeholders.
  • Develop and document clear 'To Be' process maps and supporting business documentation.
  • Produce intuitive, accessible, and user-friendly process maps that support effective decision-making.
  • Work closely with project teams and business leads to translate strategic objectives into practical operational changes.
  • Identify impacts, dependencies, risks, and opportunities associated with process changes.
  • Support change management activities to ensure successful adoption of new ways of working.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to drive engagement and secure buy-in.
  • Assist Project Managers in identifying and escalating risks, issues, and resource requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and help embed a culture of operational excellence.
  • About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:
  • Proven experience working as a Business Analyst in a non-technical capacity.
  • Strong process mapping experience, including creation of both As Is and To Be documentation.
  • Experience facilitating stakeholder workshops and driving process improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement andmunication skills.
  • Experience working within a regulated environment.
  • Background within Localernment, Housing, Council, Public Sector, Utilities, Healthcare, Financial Services, or similar regulated sectors.
  • Strong understanding of change management principles.
  • Ability to analyseplex business processes and rmend practical improvements.
  • Desirable
  • Lean, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, or Business Process Improvement qualifications/experience.
  • Experience supportingpliance,ernance, risk, or regulatory change programmes.
