Salary: £32,000
Hours: Full-time, office-based, Monday to Friday
We are recruiting for an experienced Sales Ledger Assistant to join a busy finance team. This role would suit someone with a strong background in Sales Ledger who is confident managing sales order processing, invoicing, debtor management and resolving account discrepancies.
Key Responsibilities
* Process weekly sales orders, invoices and credit notes.
* Check timesheets and clock cards against hours sold.
* Match customer purchase orders to invoices.
* Maintain the Sales Ledger and manage aged debtors.
* Investigate and resolve customer account discrepancies.
* Maintain outstanding sales order records.
* Liaise with customers, the Sales Team and Business Managers.
* Support the wider finance team with ad hoc duties.
About You
* At least 5 years' experience in Sales Ledger, including sales orders, invoicing and debtor management.
* Excellent Excel skills are essential, including confidence working with spreadsheets and workbooks.
* Good knowledge of accounting systems; Exchequer experience is advantageous.
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
* Confident communicator with a proactive, can-do attitude.
* Able to work independently and as part of a team.
