At M Group Highways, we’re supporting the safe transportation and movement of people across the UK.

As a major supplier of specialist highway electrical services, our streetlighting teams maintain and design over 350,000 street lighting assets.

What you'll be doing

You'll be accountable for leading and managing the streetlighting team

Produce, monitor and maintain programmes

Record and report on monthly performance

Manage resource levels

Visibly lead and demonstrate our commitment to SHWEQ

Produce forecasts with the commercial team, ensuring they are met

Manage cost whilst striving for operational and commercial improvements

Effective management of sub-contractors and suppliers

Ensure effective management and development of our people

Agree, set and monitor performance in terms of safety, cost, time, quality and programme

Liaise with clients to discuss and develop works delivery on the contract

What you’ll bring:

Health & Safety focused with suitable knowledge/qualifications of the industry

Minimum 3 years relevant management experience gained within the highway lighting and electrical sector

Electrical background with electrical industry qualifications

Proven track record of managing multi-task functions within a project value in excess of £1.5m p.a.

Demonstrable knowledge of commercial conditions and management of cost/value.

Strong people and process and project management skills

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
