CAD Operator

Please remember, although the role may be for nights, training may be required on the early and late shift.  Role: CAD Operator  Location: Letchworth, SG6 Hours: NIGHT (Apply online only) Salary: from £13.50 + holiday pay This role involves operating and maintaining a range of digital cutting tables, including Kongsberg C64, C24, XP24 and Elitron Kombo TAV, with two of these machines being fully automated systems.  What the role of CAD Operator involves: Setting up and operating digital cutting machines, including fully automated systems Taking responsibility for the smooth running of production on the night shift Working with a variety of materials (e.g. corrugated, board, plastics, vinyl) Monitoring quality and making adjustments where required Carrying out basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting Working efficiently to meet production deadlines What we’re looking for: Proven experience with Kongsberg or similar cutting tables Be comfortable reading job specs and working with CAD/CAM-style layouts Ability to work independently and take ownership of the night shift operation Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Good problem-solving skills Positive attitude, motivated, willingness to learn and bring the own knowledge and experience to the team Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment  Benefits for CAD Operator: Guaranteed weekly hours Opportunity for a permanent contract  Monday to Friday Training Onsite parking Weekly pay BEDFORDPERM By applying to this job advertisement, you confirm you have read and understood our
