Join our team as Retrofit Designer
Join us in making a lasting difference to the homes and communities we serve. As a Retrofit Designer, you'll play a key role in improving the energy efficiency, sustainability and quality of our homes, helping to create warmer, safer and more affordable homes for our customers. Working within a newly established team, you'll design practical and compliant retrofit solutions, collaborating with colleagues and contractors to deliver successful outcomes across our investment programmes. This is an opportunity to apply your technical expertise to support the long-term improvement of our homes and contribute to our decarbonisation ambitions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the day-to-day management of retrofit compliance records, evidence packs, document control processes and audit trails to support successful programme delivery.
Coordinate, maintain and quality-check documentation required for PAS 2035, TrustMark, funding, audit and regulatory assurance requirements.
Monitor project milestones, actions, risks and performance measures, maintaining trackers, dashboards and reports that support effective decision-making.
Support the management and storage of assessment, design, installation, handover and evaluation records, ensuring evidence is complete, accurate and audit-ready.
Lead customer engagement activities, including communication, consultation and feedback gathering, helping to improve customer participation and experience.
Produce reports, management information and briefing materials to support programme governance, audits, funding reviews and assurance processes.
Identify gaps, inconsistencies and opportunities for improvement, helping to strengthen processes, reporting tools and programme governance arrangements.
What you'll need to succeed
Experience providing compliance, governance, project coordination, programme support or administration within a complex service environment.
Experience leading customer engagement, consultation or communication activities and using feedback to improve services and outcomes.
Knowledge of document control, information governance, compliance monitoring, audit readiness and evidence management processes.
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, deadlines and multiple workstreams while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships and produce clear reports, updates and management information.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify missing information, challenge inconsistencies and support continuous improvement. xwzovoh
