Nursery Practitioner (Level 2 / Level 3)
£14.25+ per hour (depending on qualifications and experience)
Flexible part-time and full-time opportunities
Locations: Wandsworth, Lambeth & Southwark
We are currently recruiting passionate and dedicated Nursery Practitioners to join a well-established group of high-quality day nurseries across South London. This is a fantastic opportunity for Level 2 or Level 3 qualified professionals who are committed to delivering exceptional early years care and education.
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play an important role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can learn, develop, and thrive.
The Role
You will support the day-to-day care and development of children, ensuring their individual needs are met while encouraging learning through play in line with the EYFS framework.
Working as part of a friendly and supportive team, you will build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, helping to maintain the highest standards of childcare.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality care and supervision
Plan and lead fun, engaging, age-appropriate activities
Support children's emotional, social, and educational development
Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment
Observe, assess, and record children's progress
Build strong partnerships with parents and carers
Follow safeguarding and health & safety procedures at all times
Requirements
Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare (CACHE, NVQ or equivalent)
Good understanding of the EYFS framework
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach
