Area Sales Manager The Role: * Working for a leading stockist and distributor of wood products, including flooring, trusts, battens, hard woods and much more * You will be tasked for managing and developing business in the Southwest area, approximately 1.5 hours around Bristol. * Identify and target new accounts in line with company objectives and KPIs * Manage key accounts within the region * Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers * Support Sales Executives in their role and development * Represent the company at relevant trade organisations and associations About you: * Proven experience in timber products sales, either for a merchant, a distributor or a manufacturer * Living on patch, within 1 hour of Bristol * Strong contacts with the merchant sector * Proactive and strategic approach to sales * Excellent communication skills * Ability to work under pressure and make effective decisions * Strong organisational and time management skills What you will get: * Generous base salary * Uncapped annual company bonus scheme * 25 Days’ holiday plus stats, increasing to 30 days plus stats, plus the option to buy an additional 3 days’ * Life assurance * Various other schemes and incentives
