Job description:

• Daily Rate: £16.35 p/hr
• Location: Darwen, BB3
• Job Type: Full-time, Temporary

Reed/ Lancashire teaching agency are seeking a Teaching AssistantLevel 3 for a temporary position starting from after October half-term and is expected to last for the academic year!

The role is required for 5 days per week from 08:30 – 15:30 to support 2 children who have hearing impairments.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Support 2 children who have impaired hearing.
• Assist in the preparation and delivery of daily lessons.
• Provide support to individual students or small groups to help them understand the material and complete their tasks.
• Work under the guidance of the class teacher to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
• Help manage classroom resources and setup for activities.
• Supervise students during non-classroom times including lunch and recess as needed.
• Contribute to the monitoring and recording of student progress.
