Job Title: Chef de Partie (CDP) Location: 4* Hotel, Derbyshire Hours: 34-40 hours per week on average Salary: £13.00 £14.00 per hour (DOE) Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent.

We are currently recruiting for a talented and motivated Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team at a beautiful 4-star hotel set in the heart of Derbyshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a chef who is passionate about quality food, consistency, and working within a professional brigade.
About the Role As Chef de Partie, you will take responsibility for a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring all dishes are prepared and presented to the highest standard. You will work closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to deliver outstanding dining experiences across restaurant service, banqueting, and events. There is live in available for this role, with a self contained private apartment.
Key Responsibilities Running and managing your designated kitchen section
Preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes to hotel standards
Ensuring consistency, quality, and portion control
Supporting menu development and daily specials
Maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety (HACCP compliance)
Working collaboratively with the wider kitchen team
Assisting with stock control and ordering where required
Training and supporting junior kitchen staff when needed
About You Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Demi Chef de Partie ready to step up
Passion for fresh food and high-quality presentation
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen
Good knowledge of food safety and kitchen procedures
Positive attitude and strong team player xwzovoh
What We Offer Competitive hourly rate of £13£14 (depending on experience)
30-40 hours per week with stable shifts
