2nd Fix Carpenter

Teamforce Labour are currently looking for an experienced 1st & 2nd Fix Carpenter to join a project in Underriver, Kent, with an immediate start available on Monday. Role Overview The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a range of finishing carpentry works, with the majority of the work involving the fitting, adjustment, and reworking of ironmongery to a high standard. Key Responsibilities Fitting and adjusting door ironmongery, including hinges, handles, locks, closers, and associated hardware. Reworking existing ironmongery installations to ensure correct operation and finish. Easing, adjusting, and realigning doors as required. Carrying out general 2nd fix carpentry works. Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard of quality and workmanship. Working independently from drawings and site instructions. Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.Requirements Proven experience in both 1st and 2nd fix carpentry. Strong knowledge of door sets and architectural ironmongery. Ability to troubleshoot and rectify installation issues. Own tools and PPE essential. CSCS card preferred.
