Locum Employment Lawyer

We are seeking an experienced Locum Employment Lawyer to join a local authority legal team on a longer-term basis.

\n

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced employment lawyer looking for a role offering a broad and varied caseload, with the opportunity to play a key role in supporting the organisation through a period of significant change.

\n \n \nThe Role:\n \n \n

The successful candidate will provide advice across a full range of employment law matters, including:

\n

\n
• Employment disputes and contentious matters

\n

• Discrimination claims and related advice

\n

• Employment Tribunal proceedings

\n

• Equal pay claims

\n

• General employment advisory work

\n

• TUPE advice

\n\n

Person specification:

\n

You will be an experienced (qualified with relevant litigation rights) employment lawyer with strong knowledge across both contentious and advisory employment matters. You should be confident handling Employment Tribunal cases, discrimination and equal pay claims, as well as providing practical day-to-day employment advice.

\n

Experience of advising on TUPE is desirable but not essential.

\n

The successful candidate will be able to work independently, manage a busy caseload and provide clear, pragmatic advice to internal clients and stakeholders.

\n
