Forklift Counterbalance Driver

Location: Nechells

Rate of Pay: £13.00 per hour (£27k per annum)

Shift Pattern (Rotating):

• Week 1: Monday-Thursday 6:00am-2:30pm, Friday 6:00am-12:00pm
• Week 2: Monday-Thursday 2:00pm-10:30pm, Friday 12:00pm-6:00pm

The Role

We are looking for a reliable Forklift Warehouse Operative to join our client based in Nechells, Birmingham. You will be responsible for safely receiving, storing, picking, and loading materials and other products while ensuring customer orders are prepared accurately and delivered on time.

Key Duties:

• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck.
• Picking, packing, and preparing customer orders.
• Loading and unloading vehicles safely.
• Receiving and checking incoming stock.
• Storing materials correctly and keeping stock organised.
• Assisting with stock counts and inventory checks.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and tidy warehouse environment.
• Following all Health & Safety procedures.
• Reporting damaged stock, equipment issues, or safety concerns.
• Working closely with colleagues to meet customer deadlines.

Experience Required:

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence and experience.
