We are seeking an experienced and motivated Mechanical Project Manager to join our expanding team, delivering high-quality mechanical installations across a diverse portfolio of NHS, education, and commercial projects.
Reporting directly to the Head of M&E, you will take full responsibility for managing mechanical projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
Manage multiple mechanical projects across NHS, educational, and commercial sectors.
Oversee project delivery from planning through installation, commissioning, and handover.
Develop and maintain project programmes, budgets, and resource plans.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company procedures.
Monitor project performance, identifying and managing risks and opportunities.
Attend site meetings and provide regular progress updates to senior management.
Manage procurement of mechanical plant, equipment, and materials.
Ensure projects are delivered to specification, quality standards, and client expectations.
Support the Head of M&E in driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Skills & Experience Required
Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager within the building services or M&E sector.
Strong background delivering NHS, education, and commercial projects.
Excellent understanding of mechanical building services installations.
Experience managing project budgets, programmes, and subcontractors.
Strong knowledge of current industry regulations and health & safety requirements.
Effective leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software.
Full UK Driving Licence.
Desirable
HNC/HND or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or related discipline.
SMSTS qualification.
CSCS Manager Card.
First Aid at Work qualification.
Experience within live healthcare environments.
