The Role: Your responsibilities will include:
*Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons across the primary curriculum.
*Working with pupils on a 1:1 basis, providing tailored support to meet individual learning needs.
*Leading and supporting small-group interventions in subjects such as English, mathematics, phonics and reading.
*Assisting pupils with literacy, numeracy, writing, comprehension and other core curriculum activities.
*Supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), Autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties and additional learning needs, where applicable.
*Helping pupils develop their communication, social, emotional and behavioural skills.
*Implementing individual education plans, support strategies and learning targets under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCO.
*Encouraging positive behaviour and maintaining high expectations in line with the school's behaviour policy.
