About the role

Overview

SimCorp is a leading provider of investment technology solutions. The UK is a strategically important market for us, as it hosts many of the world’s largest asset managers and asset owners. We need a commercial leader to drive the adoption of our unified, cloud‑native platform in this region. The Head of UK Sales will own the entire commercial performance for the UK, reporting to the Head of UKI & Northern Europe and serving as SimCorp’s most senior commercial voice in the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own Sales ARR attainment for the UK, focusing on new logo acquisition and existing customer growth.
  • Lead, develop and coach a team of senior sales and account managers, setting expectations for quota achievement, pipeline development, territory planning and forecast accuracy in Salesforce.
  • Instill a consultative, client‑first selling approach across the organization.
  • Define and execute SimCorp’s sales strategy across Asset Manager and Asset Owner segments, partnering with Go‑to‑Market, Marketing and Customer Success to maximize pipeline and commercial momentum.
  • Identify whitespace opportunities and competitive displacement plays.
  • Act as the senior commercial sponsor in strategic opportunities— from qualification through to close— orchestrating large virtual deal teams and building trusted C‑suite relationships with target and existing clients.
  • Provide feedback to the broader organization on UK market trends, competitive dynamics and client needs, and drive continuous improvement in SimCorp’s positioning and value proposition.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record in large, complex, solution‑based sales within Financial Services or FinTech, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Experience leading senior sales teams with a structured approach to pipeline management, coaching and accountability.
  • Deep understanding of the UK investment management market—front, middle and back office—the industry trends and competitive landscape.
  • Strong ability to build trust and strategic relationships at CxO level, and to lead and orchestrate virtual deal teams without formal authority.
  • Exceptional storytelling ability— to walk into a room with skeptical CxO and reframe their perception of technology and translate complex platform capabilities into compelling business outcomes.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary, bonus scheme and pension.
  • Excellent work‑life balance and flexible working arrangements, including a hybrid workplace model.
  • Individual approach to professional development tailored to your career path.

SimCorp is an equal‑opportunity employer.
