Engineering / Operations Manager - Electronic Security

We are looking for an experienced Engineering / Operations Manager to oversee and develop our Electronic Security Division, supporting a customer portfolio across Police, Local Authority and Commercial sectors. The successful candidate will lead daily engineering operations, ensuring high standards of service delivery, compliance, technical performance and customer satisfaction. The Role You will: • Manage engineering operations including installation, maintenance and reactive service delivery • Lead supervisors, engineers and support staff, driving performance and continuous improvement • Oversee resource planning, scheduling and operational efficiency • Act as the senior escalation point for technical and service-related issues • Ensure compliance with industry standards, legislation and audit requirements • Support commercial activities including quotations, cost control and operational performance • Build strong customer and supplier relationships while managing escalated issues professionally • Promote a positive health & safety culture and support ongoing training and development across the team Requirements • Proven experience managing engineering or electronic security teams • Strong operational, technical and people management skills • Knowledge of compliance standards and audit processes within the security industry • Ability to manage customer relationships and deliver high service standards • Commercial awareness with experience supporting operational budgets and quotations Salary & Benefits • £58,000 – £63,000 salary package • Company car or car allowance option • BUPA Health Insurance • Company pension • Life insurance and accident cover • Employee discount and wellbeing programmes • 28 days holiday including bank holidays
