* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene throughout the kitchen
* Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and control food costs effectively
* Train and mentor junior staff, promoting professional development within the team
* Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service delivery
* Maintain organisation of kitchen equipment and workspaces for efficiency and safety
*Qualifications*
* Proven supervising experience within a professional kitchen environment
* Extensive culinary experience with strong skills in food preparation and cooking techniques
* Demonstrable leadership abilities with experience managing a diverse team in a hospitality setting
* Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations
* Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure
* Strong understanding of food production processes and hospitality operations
* Exceptional communication skills to effectively lead staff and collaborate across departments
