Production Manager - FMCG £45,000 - £65,000 + Private Pension + 33 Days Holiday + Days Only Clitheroe Are you a Production or Manufacturing leader from an FMCG background that wants to join a family-run business where you can make a significant impact and be a part of a relaxed, friendly team environment? This long-running Manufacturing business delivers feed solutions to clients across the agricultural sector, forming close relationships with farmers and combining their agricultural heritage with technical knowledge to deliver high-quality products. In this role you will have overall responsibility for a production plant using mills to create a variety of animal feeds, leading day-to-day operations and ensuring quality, safety & delivery targets are met while motivating and upskilling production staff. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years' production or manufacturing leadership experience in the FMCG or Agricultural/Fresh Produce sectors, and they will have an engaged, supportive approach to management where they are comfortable leading from the front. This is the perfect role for someone who would prefer to make a larger and more visible impact in a smaller and more relaxed business rather than being a 'cog in the wheel' at a larger corporation. Day-to-day of the role: Leading and managing daily production operations, ensuring targets, standards & deadlines are met Planning and optimising production schedules, resources and staffing to maximise efficiency and minimise downtime Driving Continuous Improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste and control costs Ensuring full compliance with H&S and Quality standards across all processes Developing, coaching and motivating production staff to build capability and create a high-performance culture The ideal person will have: 5+ years' experience in Production or Manufacturing leadership in a Food Manufacturing, Agricultural / Fresh Produce or FMCG environment Strong leadership skills with the ability to engage, develop and motivate teams A results-driven mentality and a focus on efficiency, quality and continuous improvement A full driving license If you are interested in this position, click apply or contact Stuart Goble at Reed.
