Quantity Surveyor Location: City of London Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 (dependant of level experience) + package A leading civil engineering and demolition contractor based in Central London is looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of complex projects across multiple high-profile sectors, delivering commercially successful outcomes in a fast-paced environment. The Company This well-established contractor specialises in delivering challenging projects across demolition, enabling works, and civil engineering. With a strong reputation for quality and safety, they operate across a wide range of sectors including Commercial, Industrial, Nuclear, Infrastructure & Rail. The Role As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the commercial management of projects from pre-construction through to final account. You will be responsible for ensuring financial control, maximising value, and maintaining strong client relationships. Key Responsibilities Manage project costs from inception to completion Procurement and management of subcontractor packages Valuations, variations, and final accounts Cost reporting and forecasting Risk and value management Liaising with clients, project teams, and stakeholders Project Scope Includes Demolition Asbestos removal Earthworks Enabling works Requirements Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering or demolition Strong commercial awareness and contractual knowledge Experience working across complex, multi-disciplinary projects Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Relevant degree or equivalent qualification (preferred) To apply, please submit your CV and a member of our team will be in contact!
