Location: Warrington
Salary: £DOE
Hours: 9.00am - 5.15pm / Monday - Friday / Hybrid

Here at Findyourfootsteps Recruitment, we have teamed up with one of the U.K's leading legal firms in the support of their recruitment for a criminal defense solicitor for their office in Warrington.

Not only are they seeking an experienced criminal solicitor, but there is also room in the department for a NQ Criminal Solicitor as well!

Responsibilities
Managing a varied caseload of criminal matters for a mix of legal aid and privately funded clients
Conducting advocacy in Magistrates Court
Managing a caseload of Crown Court cases
Attending court hearings and representing clients at police stations
Liaising with other solicitors in the team, clients, courts and third parties
Progressing cases efficiently
Preparing clear, accurate documentation and providing legal advice
Supporting and contributing to team objectives
Ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards

About you:
Experience in criminal law
Excellent communication and client care skills
Ability to manage tasks and meet deadlines
IT proficiency and xwzovoh strong organisational skills
A proactive, team-focused approach

Desirable accreditations:
Police station Accreditation
Duty Status or willingness to work towards it
Police station Accreditation - training and support provided for NQ
Willingness to work towards Duty Solicitor status for NQ
