HGV Technician - Swindon We are currently seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join our client’s team at their Swindon head office. The successful HGV Technician will work primarily on late or night shift patterns, with a highly competitive salary package and excellent benefits. Benefits: Fully negotiable salary depending on experience and shift worked £25 bonus per late or night shift Optional roadside recovery/call-out rota with substantial financial incentives Optional overtime paid at an enhanced rate, subject to availability 20 days annual leave, increasing with service, plus 8 bank holidays Access to a company pension scheme Comprehensive manufacturer-approved training programmes, both in-house and off-site Opportunity to work with an award-winning family business employing over 100 staff Flexible shift patterns with late or night shifts available, discussed further upon applicationDuties of this HGV Technician role: Conducting high-quality service and maintenance work on HGVs, adhering to manufacturer time schedules Diagnosing and repairing vehicle malfunctions efficiently and accurately Supporting colleagues with technical issues and providing innovative solutions Ensuring compliance with all relevant policies, health & safety regulations Documenting diagnosis outcomes, repairs, servicing, and safety inspections Supporting the workshop team to achieve operational targets and maintain high standards of customer serviceRequirements: IMI/NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair is highly preferred Several years of relevant experience as an HGV Technician Enthusiastic, committed, and able to work effectively within a busy workshop environment A good team player with a strong focus on quality workmanship Motivated to meet team targets and deliver excellent customer satisfaction An active HGV driving licence is advantageous but not essential Willingness to participate in optional roadside recovery/call-out rota and overtime opportunitiesIf you are a dedicated HGV Technician seeking a stable and rewarding role with a respected company, this is an opportunity not to be missed.
