About the Team

The Associate Director appointment is a newly created role supporting both our central London and Sutton offices (a hybrid role, 1‑2 days per week in each location). The team is a growing group of planners and support staff, serving a significant number of existing clients while also focusing on winning new clients to support our growth plans.

About the Role

Bring or develop a presence in the local marketplace and have a plan for how to win new clients. Comply with the Training and Competence Scheme of Forvis Mazars Financial Planning. Manage a portfolio of existing financial planning clients, ensuring that planning opportunities are identified and, where appropriate, pursued. Provide appropriate financial planning advice to Forvis Mazars LLP and externally referred clients. Collaborate on the growth of the Milton Keynes business alongside the wider ForvisMazars LLP business. Maintain an up‑to‑date technical knowledge of personal tax and financial planning and related matters.

Qualifications

  • Diploma qualified as a minimum, ideally Certified Financial Planner and Chartered Financial Planner.
  • Strong financial planning experience.
  • Evidence of ability to generate new work from new clients found externally to an existing client book.
  • Ability to proactively manage existing client relationships and develop new relationships.
