PMLD Teaching Assistant

PMLD Teaching Assistant - East London - Full Time - £100-£117 per day We are currently recruiting for a compassionate and dedicated PMLD Teaching Assistant to join a supportive SEN school in East London. This is a rewarding opportunity for somebody passionate about supporting children and young people with profound and multiple learning difficulties, helping them access education within a safe, structured, and nurturing environment. The school supports students with a range of additional needs including PMLD, complex medical needs, Autism, sensory needs, and physical disabilities. The Role: Supporting students on a 1:1 and small group basis Assisting with personal care where required Supporting students with communication, engagement, and sensory activities Working closely with teachers, therapists, and SEN staff Helping to create a calm, positive, and inclusive learning environment Supporting students with mobility and physical needs where necessaryThe Ideal Candidate Will: Have previous SEN or care experience Experience supporting PMLD students is highly desirable Be patient, caring, and emotionally resilient Be confident supporting personal care needs Have strong communication and teamwork skills Be passionate about supporting vulnerable young peopleThe Role Offers: £100-£117 per day Full-time long-term opportunity Supportive SEN school environment Excellent training and development opportunities Immediate and September starts availableIf you are interested in this PMLD Teaching Assistant role in East London, please apply with your updated CV today.
