Recycling Operative Location: Kingston upon Thames Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour Job Type: Full Time | Ongoing Immediate Starts Available Pin Point Recruitment is currently recruiting Recycling Operatives to join a busy waste and recycling operation covering the Kingston upon Thames area. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and hardworking individuals looking for ongoing work with immediate starts available. Weekend availability is essential as this role operates on a rota that includes weekend working. Key Responsibilities * Assisting members of the public with the safe disposal of waste and recyclable materials. * Directing customers to the correct recycling areas. * Sorting recyclable materials to maximise recycling rates. * Maintaining a clean, safe and tidy site. * Carrying out general site maintenance and housekeeping duties. * Following all Health & Safety procedures at all times. * Providing excellent customer service. * Reporting hazards, incidents or unsafe behaviour to supervisors. * Working as part of a team to ensure the site operates efficiently. Requirements * Previous experience in a labouring, recycling or customer-facing role is beneficial but not essential. * Excellent customer service skills. * Reliable with excellent timekeeping. * Positive attitude and willingness to learn. * Able to work weekends as part of a rota. * Full UK driving licence is advantageous as you may be required to cover sites across Kingston, Sutton and Croydon.
