Childrens Support Worker

Velox Healthcare is looking for experienced Support Workers to join our growing Childrens Social Care team. We have amazing opportunities across the South West , including Exeter, Dorset, Southampton and Newport , as well as opportunities in other locations. We are looking for compassionate and dedicated professionals who are passionate about supporting children and young people and helping them achieve positive outcomes. The role involves providing high-quality, person-centred support to children and young people, including those with challenging behaviour, learning disabilities, autism, SEMH and mental health needs . Key responsibilities include: Supporting children and young people in a safe and person-centred way. Providing crisis and behavioural support. Supporting families and maintaining positive relationships. Managing risks and helping prevent placement breakdown. Supporting transitions and new placements. Working closely with families, professionals and external agencies. Maintaining accurate records and supporting agreed care plans. About you: Level 3 or Level 5 qualification in Health & Social Care (or equivalent). Previous experience as a Senior Support Worker, Deputy Manager, Team Leader or similar . Experience working with children and young people. Good understanding of safeguarding and risk management. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Compassionate, reliable and professional approach. Willingness to travel as required. TPBN1_UKTJ
