We are urgently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join a major UK technical services and engineering business delivering complex projects across the Life Sciences, laboratory and specialist facilities sectors.

This is a strong opportunity to take a project through the full lifecycle, starting with pre-construction and design coordination in Westminster, before moving into the site delivery phase in Weybridge.

Youll be joining an established engineering business with a strong reputation for delivering technically complex projects for major UK clients, with genuine potential for a long-term position.
The Role
First 6 months Westminster
Pre-construction and project planning.
Electrical design coordination.
Review drawings, specifications and technical information.
Coordinate with consultants, designers and the client.
Procurement and subcontractor engagement.
Programme and project preparation.
Following 6 months Weybridge
Lead the electrical installation and delivery phase.
Manage subcontractors, labour and site activities.
Coordinate electrical works with other disciplines.
Monitor programme, quality, costs and progress.
Manage testing, commissioning and handover.

Key Responsibilities
Manage electrical projects from pre-construction through to completion.
Coordinate electrical design and ensure information is ready for construction.
Liaise with clients, consultants, designers, subcontractors and suppliers.
Manage programmes, procurement, resources and costs.
Lead electrical installation activities on site.
Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to specification.
Manage subcontractor performance and progress.
Monitor quality, variations, commercial performance and project risks.
Coordinate testing, commissioning and handover.
Provide regular project updates and reporting.
Act as the key electrical point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements
Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager.
Strong electrical construction and installation background.
Experience with pre-construction and design coordination.
Experience delivering complex commercial or specialist projects.
Laboratory, cleanroom, pharmaceutical or life sciences experience highly desirable.
Strong understanding of electrical systems and construction processes.
Proven subcontractor and stakeholder management experience.
Good programme, commercial and project management skills.
Strong communication and organisational abilities.
Able to work across Westminster and Weybridge. xwzovoh
