Workshop Fitter Location: Redditch Salary: £35,000 + overtime paid at time and a half Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Working Arrangement: Site-based An established material handling business is looking for an experienced Workshop Fitter to join its engineering team in Redditch. You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing forklifts and other warehouse equipment, ensuring all machinery is prepared and returned to service safely and efficiently. Responsibilities Service, maintain and repair forklifts and material handling equipment Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults Inspect and prepare equipment for customer delivery Complete job sheets and service records accurately Work in accordance with health and safety procedures Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop Requirements Experience working on forklifts, plant machinery, agricultural equipment, HGVs or similar machinery Strong mechanical and fault-finding skills Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical and diesel systems Ability to work independently and as part of a team Full UK driving licence preferred Benefits £35,000 basic salary Overtime paid at time and a half Company pension Ongoing training and career development Supportive working environment Apply now for further information.
