Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) Systems Engineer

Our client has an opportunity for a Senior Engineer- Hardware in the Loop to join them on a contract basis for 6 months with possible extension. Role: Senior Engineer- Hardware in the Loop Location: Stevenage, fully onsite Hourly Rate: £55 per hour via Umbrella, inside IR35 Clearance: SC required before starting What you'll be doing: As a HWIL engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining new and existing RF equipment and working with multi-disciplinary teams to combine RF, electronics engineering and software development to produce new capabilities that enable HWIL to run new simulations - Produce new RF targets for missiles to track, simulated ECM. testing, root cause analysis, design, development, integration. You will be able to adapt to new engineering situations and be comfortable in abstracting detail in order to understand the simulation and missile's behaviour Requirements: Radio Frequency design or testing System performance analysis Interface debugging and system integration System design for real-time applications If you are interested in applying for this position and you meet the requirements, please apply!
