Quality Control Operative

Antrim | £15.20 per hour | Evening Shift

The Recruitment Co is currently recruiting on behalf of Camden Group for a Quality Control Operative to join their manufacturing team in Antrim. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced manufacturing professional to play a key role in maintaining and improving quality standards within a well-established and growing business.

Shift Pattern

• Monday to Wednesday: 5:00pm - 2:30am
• Thursday: 5:00pm - 10:15pm
• Friday: 5:00pm - 2:30am

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out end-of-line quality inspections in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Identify and report quality issues throughout the production process.
• Support production teams in implementing corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work collaboratively to reduce remakes and improve overall product quality.
• Communicate effectively with Quality and Production Managers regarding targets, issues and daily requirements.
• Ensure all quality checks and associated work are completed each day.
• Assist in the investigation and resolution of customer complaints.

Essential Criteria

• Minimum 6 months' experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to identify and troubleshoot quality-related issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
• Flexibility to work overtime when required.
• Previous experience in a Quality Control role.
