Cleaner

We are currently hiring for a Temporary Cleaner to work on a residential building based in Peterborough, PE2. You would be in charge of all communal block cleaning to ensure the building is kept to a high standard.

Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour + holiday pay

Hours: 6 hours per week (part time) - this can be worked 1 day per week, or split across 3 days

Time Period: Around 3-4 weeks of cover

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing surfaces.
• Empty bins and replace liners.
• Replenish consumables (soap, paper towels, toilet paper) as required.
• Report any maintenance issues, hazards, or inventory shortages to the supervisor.
• Follow site-specific cleaning schedules and checklists.
• Adhere to health and safety and infection control standards, including use of cleaning chemicals and PPE.
• Work flexibly across different sites as required.

Required Skills and Attributes

• Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential.
