About the role

Role: SHEQ Advisor


Location: Omagh , Co Tyrone


Talent Curve is proud to be partnering with a well established civil engineering contractor based in Omagh. This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful team , working across a variety of Civils projects within Ireland.


The Role

  • Conduct safety audits, inspections, and investigations; compile reports and ensure compliance is consistently maintained
  • Ensure the completion and regular review of Method Statements and Risk Assessments
  • Ensure all accidents and near misses are documented, investigated and the recommended improvements are implemented
  • Ensure that employees, contractors, and site visitors receive site induction
  • Plan and coordinate SHEQ related training for employees
  • Maintain and update all relevant SHEQ Department administration.


Qualifications, knowledge, and experience

  • Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a similar Health and Safety role
  • NEBOSH (or equivalent) Qualification Certificate minimum held for at least 2 years.
  • Environmental and Quality qualification is advantageous
  • Excellent communication and team building skills
  • Well-developed organisation / planning skills
  • Good problem - solving skills, provides solutions
  • Sound IT skills and strong experience including Microsoft packages
  • Must have the right to work in UK and Republic of Ireland
  • A valid driving licence is essential for travel to site locations
