Mechanical Shift Engineer – Liverpool Street – £52,000 Location: Liverpool Street, London Salary: up to £52,000 per annum Shifts: Four-on Four-off Days Only (07:00-19:00) About the Role We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading building maintenance provider at a large commercial near Liverpool Street, London. You’ll be part of a skilled engineering team, delivering planned and reactive maintenance across mechanical systems within a modern commercial environment. Key Responsibilities of the Mechanical Shift Engineer * Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on mechanical systems and building services equipment. * Respond promptly to breakdowns, ensuring minimal downtime. * Fault-finding and remedial repairs on HVAC, pumps, motors, and mechanical building services systems. * Work alongside electrical and building services teams as part of a multi-skilled maintenance operation. * Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures and site documentation. Requirements of the Mechanical Shift Engineer * City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering. * Proven experience in a commercial or critical building environment. * Excellent fault-finding skills and the ability to work independently on shift. * Good communication and teamwork skills.
