An established independent Islamic school is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed High School English Teacher to join its supportive Secondary Girls School from September 2026.

The Role Teaching English across Years 711
26 hours per week, including Head of Department responsibilities
Working within a small, supportive team
Contributing to a positive ethos and nurturing learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have: A degree in a related subject
PGCE or recognised teaching qualification
GCSE Maths and English (Grade C/4 or equivalent)
Minimum of 2 years teaching experience
Strong classroom management and communication skills
A genuine passion for education and pupil development
Desirable: ECT qualified
The school is also willing to invest in and support applicants wishing to undertake the ECT programme.
