Location: Leamington Spa and surrounding areas Hours: Monday to Friday, Full-Time Contract: Temporary Salary: Competitive daily rate SEN Teaching Assistant Required - Leamington Spa Hays Education are currently recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to work on a full-time, temporary basis within mainstream primary schools across Leamington Spa. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant or SEN Support Worker who is passionate about helping children with additional needs achieve their full potential in an inclusive school environment. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will: Support pupils with Special Educational Needs on a 1:1 basis and in small groups Assist children with a range of needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, Speech & Language difficulties and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs Encourage engagement, participation and positive learning behaviours Work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to implement support strategies Help create a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment Support pupils both inside and outside the classroom What We're Looking For Previous experience working with children with SEN, either in schools or a similar setting A patient, caring and proactive approach Strong communication and relationship-building skills Ability to work effectively as part of a school team Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one What Hays Can Offer You Competitive rates of pay Full-time, Monday to Friday work Ongoing support from a dedicated Hays Education consultant Access to a wide range of temporary and long-term opportunities Free safeguarding and CPD training Weekly pay If you're looking for a rewarding SEN Teaching Assistant role within supportive mainstream schools in the Leamington area, we'd love to hear from you.
