Machine Operative - Full time * Shift A (Alternating weeks) - 4 day week, 3 day week Week 1 - Sunday, Monday, Tuesday 6:30am - 6:30pm / Week 2 - Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 6:30am - 6:30pm * Shift B (Alternating weeks) - 4 day week, 3 day week Week 1 - Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday 6:30am - 6:30pm / Week 2 - Thursday, Friday, Saturday 6:30am to 6:30pm * Based in Ilminster, Somerset Benefits As a Machine Operative, you'll receive from £14.11 per hour, fortnightly paid, with opportunity for progression to Senior Machine Operative roles, and other benefits; * 3% Employer Pension Contribution * 21 days annual leave * Life Assurance – 1 x basic salary * Critical Illness Cover * Mental Health & Well-Being Support – on-site Supporters, (email address removed), Occupational Health * Free Potatoes * Free Fruit * Regular Employee Engagement Activities * Internal Management Development programme * eLearning opportunities * Apprenticeship Development Opportunities Main Duties * You'll be responsible for the day to day running of our packing lines * Key duties will involve ensuring the smooth running of machinery whilst meeting production targets and adhering to safety, hygiene and quality systems. * You'll work as part of a highly motivated team, ensuring best practices are communicated and adopted across all shifts, providing training for new and/or current employees, with continuous improvement at the core of all activities undertaken. * You'll also be required to lead product changeovers, ensuring the whole team works together and achieves set targets, reporting to the team leader if members of the team are not performing to the required standard About us Like us, are you passionate to succeed?
