Production Cell Leader | High Wycombe | 3-Month Temp to Perm | £40,000pa: A really good opportunity has arisen for a Production Cell Leader to join a global high-tech manufacturer on a temp to perm basis. This is a fast turnaround hire, with my client looking to interview and start a Production Cell Leader as quickly as possible. You will lead a small team of electro-mechanical technician's who build and repair complex instrumentation.     On a day-to-day basis the Production Cell Leader’s responsibilities will be: Support leadership and development within the team. To help coordinate routine operations within the cell to meet agreed safety, quality, cost, delivery, and people skills objectives (SQCDP). To operate within Health & Safety standards. Lead 5s compliance via audits within the team. To operate within industry ISO standards TQM. Lead ESD compliance via audits within the team. Ensure weekly production schedules are met and achieve ‘On Time/Right First Time’ targets. To support development and skills capability within the team. Seek to improve and innovate in line with production processes and techniques. Support Inventory Control practices. To deliver business benefit via continuous improvement, utilising knowledge of operational excellence skills. Production Cell Leader required Skills & Experience: Experience within an electro-mechanical build and test manufacturing environment A recognised relevant engineering qualification such as an apprenticeship, NVQ, HNC/HND etc is desirable but not essential. And/or will have relevant experience/have held a similar role in a similar environment. Health & Safety compliance (COSHH / SSOW). ESD trained.
