Salary: £48,000
Hours: Monday to Friday (Rotating Shifts: 8:00am5:00pm & 10:00am7:00pm)
The Opportunity We are currently seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join a professional on-site engineering team at a prestigious commercial property in West London.
This is a static-site position offering excellent stability, a collaborative team environment, and the opportunity to work within a modern, high-profile building. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of all mechanical building services.
Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks
Maintain and fault-find on mechanical plant and equipment including AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors, valves, and associated HVAC systems
Conduct plant room inspections and ensure all equipment is operating efficiently
Respond to breakdowns and complete repairs in a timely manner
Support compliance activities and ensure all maintenance records are accurately completed
Liaise with subcontractors and specialist service providers when required
Work closely with the wider engineering team to deliver a first-class maintenance service
About You Qualified in a mechanical discipline (City & Guilds, NVQ, Apprenticeship or equivalent)
Experience working within commercial building maintenance environments
Strong knowledge xwzovoh of HVAC and mechanical building services systems
Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Professional and client-focused approach
Able to work effectively as part of a team
