Plant Fitter / HGV Technician

Senior HGV Mechanic Established, local and trusted automotive mechanical specialist have an urgent requirement for an experienced HGV mechanic to join their rapidly expanding and supportive team based at their brand new purpose built workshop located in the Romsey suburbs. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years experience working as an HGV focused mechanic. My client are seeking a punctual, hard working and self motivated HGV focused Mechanic to join our their team in an important role as part of their continued growth. This position reports directly to the Business Owner and involves working as the lead HGV focused specialist within the business. The business owner is hands-on and supportive but the successful individual will be expected to be able to run things by themselves when he is not present, be able to use initiative, pick up things and run with them and take full responsibility and be accountable for the workshops performance. The position is of a permanent full time nature but my client are very happy to consider professionals who may be looking for slightly reduced hours or flexibility around start and finish times. Servicing & repairs to HGV vehicles Electrical and Mechanical Fault finding & Diagnostics MOT Preparation Safety inspections to DVSA standard Automotive/Mechanical focused qualifications (preferred but not essential).
