Planning Engineer Contract Type: Permanent Salary: £65,000 per annum Benefits: Pension, Bonus, Private Medical, Incentive Plan, 25 Days Holiday The Role We are seeking an experienced Outage Planning Engineer to join the Wider Engineering Team. You will be responsible for the planning, coordination and delivery of major planned outages, inspections, maintenance campaigns and engineering projects. This role would suit someone from a Maintenance Planning background, ideally with exposure to the power generation or related industries Working closely with site outage teams, engineering functions, contractors and stakeholders, you will develop and manage integrated outage programmes, ensuring work is safely planned, efficiently sequenced and delivered to agreed timescales, quality standards and budgets. Key Responsibilities Lead the planning and coordination of major planned outages, ensuring safety, programme, cost and quality KPIs are achieved. Develop and manage integrated outage schedules, including milestones, critical paths, resources and contractor activities. Coordinate with Site Outage Managers, Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, H&S, Environmental and Finance teams. Integrate contractor and supplier programmes into the overall outage schedule.
