Geo-Environmental Engineer/Geologist

Our client, a busy and friendly geo-environmental, geotechnical, and site investigation company is currently seeking a Junior to Mid-Level Geo-Environmental Engineer/Geologist to join their team. This permanent position offers the flexibility to be based in the West of England offices, West Midlands, or Milton Keynes, with opportunities for hybrid working. The role supports professional development under the supervision of a Senior Engineer, offering excellent growth opportunities within the field. Key Responsibilities: Carrying out Site Contamination Assessments from Stage 1 Tier 1 to Stage 3 Conducting Site Investigations for geotechnical appraisal, infiltration testing, and combined investigations using all common techniques Monitoring ground gases and groundwater Scheduling contamination, waste classification, and geotechnical laboratory testing Writing factual and interpretative reports, with mentorship to support improvement and progression Managing sites efficiently Maintaining self-motivation and time management Applying good Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) practices Holding a full clean driving licence Job Requirements: The successful candidate will have an understanding of ground investigation techniques, limitations, and outcomes, as well as strong time management skills and self-motivation.
